I think it's actually trying to look like a Porsche or a Volvo, but I'm not sure which. It's also gonna be absolutely take the piss loud, to the point it's probably unpleasant to ride.

Other than the exhaust though, I like it a lot.

I think it's inspired by terrorism rather than Suzuki, Volvo or Porsche.

They've put mirrors on it that enable the rider to look for explosives underneath cars.

They look like they're positioned so the rider can admire themselves. Like the shop window thing, but a stage further.

Especially when the guy pictured on it has long shoe laces :D

I confidently predict that before long there'll be a custom with no mirrors but with a rear facing camera and a screen to stare at while you exit, stage left, through a hedge.

I wouldn't be surprised if that exhaust fucks something anyway - look how close it runs (unshielded) to various electronics and plastic bits  And the shock reservoirs.

I cannot imagine for a second why I would dislike a bike that's got obvious functional issues. Not a clue :D

I actually quite like it, but take out the obviously dumb bits first please

Am I missing it or is the exhaust unsupported all the way to the rear?

Steel pipes are pretty good at supporting themselves TBF.

On my actual classic Triumph they're also unsupported between head and rear. I probably shouldn't hold that bike up as an example of good design though.

Puts a lot of stress on the exhaust studs though, as they vibrate up and down. All that weight has to hang on something.

Especially when someone shoves a trolley jack under them to pick the bike up.

Also - is it just me, or does it seem really weird than the chain is on the right hand side? I assume all of these Trumpets are like that, but I dunno, just seems off :D
