Also from the article:

insiders warned the increasingly isolated prime minister is becoming “unpredictable and erratic”.

Low or high baseline?

Much as I like blaming remainers, I don't think they need to worry about being blamed for this. Boris has managed to excavate his own pit.

Son was driving 7 yr old grandson home from swimming.

Grandson: "Dad, why is 10 Downing Street so important?"

Son: "Because the Prime minister lives there and he is in charge of the country"

Grandson: "Is he leaving because they can't have any more parties?"

Book out attacking Carrie (Mrs Johnson).

Mrs Johnson has said she is the target of a "brutal briefing campaign".

Her spokeswoman said allegations made by former Tory chairman Lord Ashcroft were "just the latest attempt by bitter ex-officials" to discredit her adding: "She is a private individual who plays no role in government."

So, remind us again, this was a work meeting?

I wonder why she needs a spokeswoman.

There are plenty of people at No.10 who aren't part of the government even though it's their place of work. I assume she still works for the Tory party.
There is certainly a vendetta against Boris in the party, when they couldn't get him they have now turned on her.

Getting rid of him is probably the only way they are going to stop the tax and spend mentality, in his efforts to appease the new northern constituancies he's looking increasingly to the left of Tony Blair.

Filly and I both WfH, me for the last 2 years, each for different employers. Neither of us have ever joined a work meeting the other was having. The only time we have ever been in the same 'room' for work was when we attended the same event, that was 7+ years ago.

As it said:
Spokesperson wrote: She is a private individual who plays no role in government."
Wiki says: "Symonds became the Conservative Party's head of communications in 2018,[15] but left the position later that year,[7] taking up a job in public relations for the Oceana project.[16][14]"
Mussels wrote: Mon Feb 07, 2022 1:24 pm when they couldn't get him they have now turned on her.
'Now' might be a bit stretchy. If Ashcroft has written a book that won't have happened overnight. Even the statement says 'latest', so it's hardly 'now' as a consequence of failure to get Boris.

Peak Boris, as his fibs and slurs lead to SKS being mobbed by weirdos.

Seems that BJ not apologising means that his supporters still think he believes it. Funny that. What a fule the man is.

If you believe that's what tipped a bunch of conspiracy theorist anti-vaxxers over the edge then yes.

These nutters weren't attacking Starmer about Saville until Johnson brought it up so there is a direct link.

You could equally accuse Greta Thunberg of sending out mind control rays to make people glue their hands to trains.
Is that in Hansard?
