IT's been a long time coming, we've had a slight misting but no actual rain for 3-4 weeks now.

I think we've only had the gritter/salter wagons out once this winter here. I think they've tried to use all the spare stuff in the local car parks...there's mounds of it!

Yeah roads were pure white in most places around here. Weathers been decent but too much salt for riding.

I think it'll stop my test ride today though unless it dries out later. Hopefully tomorrow at the latest and I might get nicer roads to ride on.

In my experience it's always the most cold and icy in early March (except those odd March heatwaves we sometimes get). So it's all gonna get salted up again a few times before winters end.

But it's ok, I've got my BMW shitter to ride, the salt can't really make it any worse

I am almost getting used to you actually riding a bike in what the rest of us regard as AWB months.....even though you only go out in the dry.

Washed all Wednesdays salt, mud and rain off the Ducati yesterday so its all shiny again and it absolutely hammered down with rain here this morning so hopefully thats the salt layer gone and no more white coating with any riding coming up
