Memory lane job for me. When I was lad a local guy had one with spannies on, we could hear him coming from the town centre half a mile away... :D

IIRC all the air just got rammed in a bit more round the fins on the head.

A bloke near my mothers house had one yonks ago.
It had four spannies and it always irritated the crap out of me cos it only had three cylinders and the extra spannie was a dummy.

A friend had a cafe racered one in the 80s (before I knew him), he recently showed us a picture of it and started going on about how great it was, it looked an utter shit heap and we asked him if they didn't have LCs in Oxfordshire in the 80s, it really was laughably awful.

Apart from that I rode one in about 1985 and bought an X7.
