Unfortunately, sometimes not quite the level of detail needed.

Or another about girl collapsing outside of the building, that ended:
But it was ok. She was breathing again by the time the paramedics arrived.

Tracker for my wife to follow me so she knows I'm still alive?

Re: Tracking your route for the wife
I just don't think it would be much use in practice is all. If I'm in schtuck I'd have my phone and if able I'd use it. If not I doubt there's much the missus could do, in time.
Re: Tracking your route for the wife
I’d rather not be tracked.
A couple of months back a friends wife’s Apple Watch sent an alert while she was out cycling, his son went to investigate as it wasn’t too far away, he found her crushed under a tractor and trailer.
I wouldn’t want any of my family on scene so they can be “in the dark” for their own good.

I’ve got garmin connect on my phone, sends wife a link for location that she can check anytime. Has the route on too. Works well.

Re: Tracking your route for the wife
It's obviously part of the phone, but I have an app called 'Map my drive", it's meant to do quite a lot of what I think you want. I never actually started using it so can't vouch 100% for it. I'll pop the link up so you can have a look https://apps.apple.com/nz/app/map-my-drive/id1481519360

If she just wants to know that you're dead in a ditch (presumably to start a life insurance claim?):

Re: Tracking your route for the wife
I don't want tracking. No no No. If I've had a great ride to the coast or somewhere, when i get home i might need to play it down a bit or maybe not mention fully where I've been, so she doesn't moan too much if she's been stuck at home or work and I've had a lovely, sunny jolly to the coast.

Re: Tracking your route for the wife
If you're carrying a mobile phone that's powered on you're being tracked whether you like it or not, all you doing is giving your wife permission to see that data, the "man" already has permission but can't be arsed to look at your pathetic life.
