Can anyone give me an idea what a good ACDC set to learn to tig weld steel and aluminium would be? I'd be teaching myself and can already mig weld.
Thanks.

I have a unit similar to this,https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/353073755105 ... 1438.l2649
There are loads of makes all looking like this probably out of the same chinese factory.
My one came with a foot pedal which I would recommend you get one with a pedal to. It makes it a lot easier to control the current.
My unit welds fine and decent for the money. I am sure mine was below 500 with the pedal included.
Totally different to mig though, but if you can gas weld it shouldn't be to hard to pick up tig.

There is no cloud, just somebody else's computer.
