Yes, I had a Suzuki GT185 with drops, I was a stupid 17 year old, I didn't get any better because I also had LCs with drops, might have been the same ones that were fitted to the GT.
I had both. Again the bar mounts are way higher than the seat.
The GT was stupidly uncomfortable with drops, the LC was okay, I tried clip-ons on my first LC, I wish I hadn't.

In this instance I think I actually prefer the custom job. But that's as much an indication of how I view the original.

Black and minimalist, right up my street.

The original was absolutely hideous, the engine is pretty much the only non fugly part.
