Couldn't disagree more. Looks like it's been done superbly, every fixing, fastening, nut and bolt is done well. Overall i'm not sure i'd like to ride one... but can't argue at the quality.

I certainly don't dislike it, but there's balance to be had with a restomod approach. With this one, there is too much emphasis on the newer side of things and it almost becomes spoilt by having a too older engine in it. Overall, I don't think it works very well.

On the usual basis of "first thought" when I opened it - I'm with you. Definitely one of the better ones.

It's not that model shite hawk, it's the one after.

It's well done, but I doubt if it runs and if it does I bet it splutters at anything over 3000rpm, they're utter arses to get running on pod filters.

At least they've had the guts to photograph it in daylight.

Should be pretty quiet :D

The wavy discs look weirdly out of place to me. Is that a Daytona 675 swingarm?

Have any of you tried riding a bike where the bars are same height as the seat?

Yes. It's not great :D

If anything I think they're actually below the seat on the OP!

Yes, I had a Suzuki GT185 with drops, I was a stupid 17 year old, I didn't get any better because I also had LCs with drops, might have been the same ones that were fitted to the GT.

Not sure the SC1000 was much more or less radical.

Mine had them top mounted, other models were below the yokes.

XSR900 Abarth must be a contender too ?

BTW, the Bonneville doesn't have any lock stops on the steering. The lock stop is when you trap your thumb between the bar and the tank :D

Once again, bar end mirrors. Ugh. Plus a rear end that looks like it's detached from the rest of the bike. I know why they do it but it makes them look like a bike in two halves. I'd need wrist braces if I wanted to ride it too.
So, nicely done, if that's your thing but it's not mine. :D

Both them bikes the bars are 6 or 7 inches higher than seat. That's a huge difference.

I had both. Again the bar mounts are way higher than the seat.

Not bad. Certainly a shed load less fugly than the original Shitehawk.

I don't see the point of drop bars on anything other than a sportsbike, that aside I dig black bikes.
