BMW G650, it's a version of the older Rotax unit from the F650, but made by a Chinese company.

They've had the prototype in a unit in our yard for a year or more now, it came over for road testing and type approval. Made it 2 miles down the road before the engine cried enough. It had already done a lot of testing in India though before. The engine is based on the BMW single from the G650. It has different cases and a few other cosmetic mods. They've not done a bad job tbh and it'll be a similar price to the enfield but that has the advantage of being a twin and a whole new engine

It's not my cuppa but my Dad loves it. And I guess that's it's market. Older blokes who don't wanna shell out for a classic and it's associated maintenance. That and beardy types in Hoxton.
