Anything which juxtaposes walnut and carbon gets several ticks in my book. Add in those white dials and it could've come from a speedboat

I had a blue one. :D

The only thing 'wrong' with it was the headlight. It did what it said on the label - toured sportily. Well, as sportily as a flat twin 1200 might. Tank bag, pair of panniers, pillion and away you go.

I know someone who owns one of these,it looks as bad in real life, but the owner likes it.

I don't mind the 6.5, I think it's aged pretty well. It was just ahead of it's time.

mangocrazy wrote: Tue Jan 18, 2022 10:10 am I'd agree with most of the selections on this thread, but feel it's a bit harsh on the SV650 especially. I don't think it's anywhere near as bad as some of the other Suzukis in this thread. And the first CBR600 wasn't really to my taste, but was a genuine game changer. Some of the fugliest bikes were those adorned with aftermarket fairings in the 70s and early 80s. They were truly hideous.
I agree about the SV650. I certainly don't find it ugly compared to the other more gopping candidates? But then I have a soft spot for the SV, having owned 3 or 4 of them.

I was just trying to remember the name of that. Ugly doesn't do it justice :obscene-birdiedoublered:

I still like the 6.5. I posted it as my entry in a 'guilty pleasures' thread. I imagine that as the bike ages, gets rusty and knocked about that a lot of its charm will dissipate, but if a decent one came up at a sensible price, I'd have one.

I like that! :D

Probably a few too many design ideas going on at once but I'll give 'em points for trying to be a bit different. Different paint job and a few tweaks it could be quite

Finish that the way the little Honda cub has been in the other thread, and it would transform it...

I think the entire MT range hit every branch on the way down and it was a tall tree.
I like the Hayabusa and the SV
