Tow bar mounted bike carrier: What is best

Post by Mr Moofo »

Todays conditions at Peaslake show me that I need an external way of carrying bikes.
I have a tow bar - so the ball mount type for three bikes would seem ideal.

Anyone got any recommendations ?
Is Thule still the go-to brand ?
Are Pendle Racks any good?

Thanks

Atera. We've had a tow bar mounted for probably 10 years and its been used and abused and still good.

I have the Thule, 3 bike holder, great bit of kit, super sturdy and locks onto the towbar solidly.
Purchased used and was like new.

My big concern is that my Cotic is a long bike - so I do wonder if it will fit on some of the Thule stuff from a few years ago.
(I was looking at buying second hand)

I bought a Buzz rack, which was insanely long. I ended up sending it back as it was actually too long for me

As in "wide" for the wheel base ?

Both, wide tyre and long wheelbase

Went back to my old Thule which is too short really lol.
