A. I reckon I could rock that.
B. Or maybe look like a total wazzock, could go either way but I'm fairly game so not fussed either way.

I suspect he's not giving it up , hell man, my dog (Floyd) has a pink harness for fairly obvious reasons and if an 8 month old Bull Lurcher can rock it I reckon a knocking on 50 year old carpenter can.
Err.... maybe... Ahem.

Re: It's only a teeny bit pink: GSX-R1100N
I've probably done about 800 miles on it. In that time it's had a leaky fork seal... fixed with a feeler gauge. Then I discovered the lower left hand fork adjuster (compression?) was seized and fucked the head up trying to get it to shift. I was gonna get an ABBA stand and get the forks over to Brooks, but I'm just too dashed idle.
The problem is whenever I decide to go out, the wife wants to come too, so I end up out on the K1200 instead.
Don't get me started on how few miles the Enfield did in 2020.
Doesn't help that I bought car with a roof that comes off.

Sounds like your wife needs a motorcycle licence. Same thing that finally got my mum to re-learn.

She's got one and a BMW F700GS LS Rallye which I bought her brand new in 2016. It's got 666 miles on the clock.Mr. Dazzle wrote: ↑Sun Jan 16, 2022 5:00 pm Sounds like your wife needs a motorcycle licence. Same thing that finally got my mum to re-learn.

If she sold it there'd be room in the garage for my lightweight Hornet.

Bob- guessing you may have seen this already , but just in case...
I stumbled across it by accident - very dated ( it is 30 years old though so it's going to be eh), and a bit repetitive in places but I enjoyed it, particularly Whit's Cadwell (old club circuit! ) bellypan camera stuff - worth a watch IMO, assuming of course you can tolerate Heuwen's dulcet tones and presentation style !

Forks out!
Still to decide if I'm just gonna do the oil and seals myself (maybe some springs too), or send them to a pro. A lot depends on if I can get the left hand compression adjuster to free off.
It's all so very very clean for a 30 year old bike.

That's proper nice.
As a bike I hate it.
But as a clean bike, I approve lots

Every bolt and screw came out without any drama, even the mudguard ones that are usually a pain on older bikes.
In it's 13,000 miles I suspect it's only seen rain twice... both my fault.
You can't hate it, it' a proper bike for proper men... who are manly enough that they're not bothered by pink.

Any engine with fins is automatically more properer.
Holy hanging callipers though. Don't let anyone see.

I put the axle stand under the callipers to take the strain.
It's got fins cos it's oil cooled innit. No water here!

Not very efficient design...1127cm3. 1127cc would have required fewer letters.
