Just sat reading the latest issue of ABR magazine and there's an advert for... Suzuki Adventure bikes.

3 year PCP deals, are £0 min deposit and 2.9% (which is the same as the last personal loan I got). There's a £500 test ride incentive (which is just a way of saying £500 off RRP).

I went online and played with the calculator...

If you put £2400 down as a deposit on a V-Strom 1050XT you could have one for £101 a month.

(You'd need to find £6.5k to buy it after three years)

I turned down a spin on my Dad's CB1000R today.

I'm staying at their place for a couple of days and I don't have my kit. He's nearly the same size as me so could probably borrow his but CBA. Plus its naffing freezing.

Also...might end up buying one if I ride his

I think I may be sensible (for a change) and spend the deposit money for a new bike on my Fazer thou!!

Get that back up and running, should last me many more years then?

Errrrm. Yeah, errrrm lovely.

Think of say a 2003 ford focus Vs a 2021 focus. Go try 1 of each.

Then buy the new bike

However it doesn't go to work every day, pay the bills, look after the kids, the wife.

It's not like you don't deserve to enjoy things too

So £2400 + £3600 in monthly payments + £6500 to own a crappy V-Strom, that's £12500, you could buy a decent bike with that.

You'd have to be a proper wanker to even consider one.

Not everyone's cup of tea, but if it is that's a cracking deal.
