I have one on my Zesty, it is handy and I wouldn't be without one having had it. Next time I'd spend the extra £££ and have the stealth one as the cable annoys my eyes (more than it should).

That's the best thing about the Vyron, it's that stealthy it has NO cables at all

Agree, but the great thing is also it's interchangability, especially for the small boy, his next bike i can swap it to as he's growing, then the next, till he stops growing etc.

It also stops all the faffing with cables, hydraulics, tension, bleeding etc..

Following some months of procrastination I've ordered a dropper seat post, I haven't spent a lot because I want to see how I get on with it, if I really like it I'll order an expensive one when this one breaks

WHat's wrong in the reivews, i've run several KS droppers as has Crust, they've worked really well.

Reviews on Amazon said that one wasn't very good so I've bought this one instead

which gets better reviews - and I'll probably live to regret getting instead of the KS one, though I wouldn't be surprised if it's the same one in a different packet

Can wholeheartedly recommend Brand x Ascend droppers - Got them on all the bikes never had a problem and easy to service. The remotes aren't perfect if your bars are cluttered with e-bike controls but lots of cheap remote levers on ebay.

*edit - yours has got the new remote - much better!

My Brand X post has developed a bit of side to side play, ie; the seat rotates slightly, is this normal, it doesn't affect riding, it's just a little annoying, I don't remember it doing this when I fitted it. It also might just be at the top of the seat travel.

And yes, I have checked everything is tight.

I'd like one of these. They sound good for bollocking along on the open bits and lowering it for better control in the tighter bits.

My bike is fairly basic, a 2014 Charge Cooker and I don't use it a huge amount. Is there an ok budgety option which might suit my needs?

If you want cable operated about £150, lever under the seat about £80

TBH all dropper posts seem to wobble slightly - I used to worry about mine but no longer do ( two Reverbs, two Brand Xs ...)
