Impressed with the speed the guy in the first vid gets his hazards on... it usually takes me about five minutes to remember which vehicle I'm driving and where the button is

That'll be his ABS,more than likely. On our wagon the ABS triggers the hazards automatically.

Oh - that's a feature I wasn't aware of, but makes a lot of sense.

Nor me,until it happened to me in the car. Until my slow brain joined the dots I thought I had somehow accidentally hit the hazard lights.

Anyway,noted for the future,should I be behind a car when the hazards join the brake lights,I'd best deploy my own retardation system fairly promptly.

Three of us heading back from the BMF one Sunday evening, matey in front, his gf second, me at the back (no, not struggling to keep up, thank you very much).

Caravan ahead, he closes up behind, really close. I knew what and why, but didn't agree that it was wise. Also didn't think he'd take kindly to constructive criticism.

We stopped at a Little Thief for coffee. Chat chat chat ... "Hey, Steve, bit close behind that caravan weren't you?" and lean back as his gf joined in "Yes, i thought it was really dangerous!" Seconds away, round one.
