Re: Super Hooligan
My only question really is.... WTF on the gaps ? 28s to the last guy on the grid ? Bostrom was 10s off pole ?? But other than that... it looks ACE.

Looking at the other video's the dirt oval stuff is done on different (proper) bikes.Le_Fromage_Grande wrote: ↑Thu Jan 06, 2022 8:57 am Looks good at Laguna Seca, but the dirt races are going to be total wank.

Re: Super Hooligan
I'd like to see a race series for big naked bikes, I was hoping the replacement for supersport 600 would be this, but I think the problem with naked bikes is lack of space for advertising.

Re: Super Hooligan
It would be great to see stock mt10s, 1290 duke, tuono 1100 etc up against each other. Naked bikes that folk can buy and use on the road.

Re: Super Hooligan
Stock wouldn't work, it'd become a 1 bike championship, like proddie racing became when LCs started being sold, you need to equalise the performance to encourage different bikes.

The 400s were still competitive for a year or 2.Le_Fromage_Grande wrote: ↑Thu Jan 06, 2022 1:32 pm Stock wouldn't work, it'd become a 1 bike championship, like proddie racing became when LCs started being sold, you need to equalise the performance to encourage different bikes.

Re: Super Hooligan
Oh I dunno- yeah, undoubtedly it would end up with one or two or possibly three makes (currently thinking Aprilia, Ducati or KTM with a possibility of Triumph being the dark horse) almost always winning as the likes of MT10s, S1000Rs, Brutales etc wouldn't really cut it at the very sharp end but thats sort of how it is in Superstock 1000 anyway- just a different mix of manufacturers at the front thereLe_Fromage_Grande wrote: ↑Thu Jan 06, 2022 1:32 pm Stock wouldn't work, it'd become a 1 bike championship, like proddie racing became when LCs started being sold, you need to equalise the performance to encourage different bikes.

Re: Super Hooligan
This is 750cc and up twins, so a lot like Sound of Thunder, but only for naked bikes.
There's a right old mix in the video, notice that KTM 790/890's take 1st and 2nd tho'

Re: Super Hooligan
Adv bikes are the biggest sellers so let’s have a BSB support series for them, standard wheel sizes have to be kept no 17” front wheels. HP limit but any tuning allowed, standard bars and seat positions but rear sets allowed. It would be ace

Might be the mixed choice of bikes as there were Harley low riders and Indians as well as scalpels

Re: Super Hooligan
I have video and photo evidence of mine being ridden on off road mountain trails with rocks and loose gravel and shit like that .... more than most enduro "adventure" bikes ever see
