Backend Webserver Unreachable / performance issues.

OK, so we're now hosted on a new Web Server and lets see how this one works and if it's a bit more stable.

I've got a few things to sort out on the back end after the migration, but nothing that should affect you guys.

From what i can see, it's running sweetly and quickly on the forum end.

Anyway.... Since the move it's been 100% stable again to the best of my knowledge and i'd argue a bit quicker than previously too.

I'm thinking the ISP get a stay of execution and we'll likely just stick with them another year. We're now just coming into renewal time, with our initial setup being around Valentines day 2 years ago... But techincally as we started on a lower rate of service, we'll actually renew the full thing in mid-march... so unless it goes pear shaped before then, i think we'll stick.

Oh weird. We've not had much in the way of SQL errors.

I think we have to accept the odd issue with things like service restarts, updates etc

TBF it's just a random MySQL error, I doubt it's got much to do with the hosting.

I've yet to find a Web hosting service that promises 100% uptime, 99.999% still means every now and again you'll get a blip, it just happens.
