Quite a short notice day out at bpw today with my mate Jon.

He used to work there and is a season pass holder so knows the trails well and more importantly understands my abilities (or lack of) so tailors the day to suit.

He took me down some of the reds that I haven't ridden before (AC:DC, hotstepper and some others I can't remember)
Twas a great day out.

Acdc is a tough red matey. Especially the drops if ridden blind.
Good job sir!

I need a trip down to BPW next year, I've never been. I always end up in Scotland for weekends away.

Yeah, we talked a lot about the trail while riding up, and Jon told me that we would pick our way down gently. You really need to know what's coming next and it gets better with speed in the right place, speed in the wrong place could end in pain.

Good day out at the Peaks, started at Edale and the plan was to find the B29 cash site, up Jacobs ladder and over to kinder scout waterfall however it wasn't really a waterfall today 😲, didn't make it to the crash site as we would of run out of daylight and the conditions were... challenging lol, looped back round and headed back down Jacobs ladder and into cafe at Edale train station for a nice warm coffee and cake 😁

LOL looks, character building... It's a shame the Peak is a gazillion miles away from us.

Up and ready to get kitted up and head to Rogate. Watched a few videos last night, there's some stuff i'll ride and plenty i won't tackle that's for sure.

@Rp1 that looks awesome, very challenging. I've only ridden the Peaks a few times but it was brilliant (apart from the climb up to Mam Tor😂).

Lol it takes more than 12 hours without rain to dry trails out.
