I'm selling the Tmax and NC700X. I was going to buy another SH300 as I know they are great commuters, but before arthritis grinds me to a halt, I thought I'd go for another bike.

What about a 650 Interceptor. Upright, not a sports bike (looks a bit like your old Thruxton if you squint), but they're only circa 50bhp.

However, I wouldn't touch a 790 with a shitty stick, especially if I was Taipin and had that trouble with the 690.
There's just too many potential issues, imho.

I've fought off the KTM yearning as I found the bent valve from my 690 when I was looking for tyre levers today!
Its deffo Japanese for me. -
