This years number one has also pushed out The Spice Girls and The Beatles for most Christmas number ones in a row.
The spice girls stuff is hardly what classics are made of but I'm not sure there'll be documentaries about LadBaby and his sausage roll song in 25 years.

In the top five we have one serious new song which has been beaten by a rather boring parody of it, then there are two 80s songs and a recording of someone repeatedly slagging of the prime minister and being as offensive as possible.
You aren't missing much.
Is there a top ten of singles that charted, where the premis was that the incumbent Prime Minister was a fvcking cvnt? (Or similar).
Surely Thatcher or Blair?

We've always had people famous for being famous though....they were just called different things. Hangers on, courtiers, socialites, whatever.

If you watch it then when it gets to the most bizarre and silly bits just stop yourself for a moment and ask if this is something people actually already do - the answer was mostly yes.
I'm beginning to tire of these "isn't modern life mad" parodies. Yeah we get it now.

It's like the 4 decades of "all robots on the brink of killing you" fillum bullshit.

Plus I thought DiCaprio was a bit shit in it

I'm watching Don't Look Up, with decent actors, editors and director it could have been a good film. So Hollywood BMP right now.

White headlights/lamps! And HIDs in dipped lights!

Someone followed me down the mountain this morning and I’d have sworn he had full beam on. I hinted as such by flicking my fog light. But nope. He was on dip. But sodding hell it made driving a challenge with bright white lights in all the mirrors

I did pull in at the first opportunity and he shot off down the mountain happily at speed with his ‘daylight’ head lights!

I do get that they are really good to drive by but FFS they are spectacularly unpleasant when they are following you :angry-cussingblack:

Iirc they all need to be self leveling so could adjust on a long downhill to point too high. High beam is great but I don't like driving with them dipped as there's a sudden cut off, I can see about 50' and then nothing. Not a problem most of the time but occasionally it makes things difficult, given a choice I'd not have them.

I didn't know it was a BH Monday. I wonder if that means I get a day back of leave.

Yeah, you should get today and tomorrow as freebies as Chrimbo and Boxing day were on a weekend. Same with New Years Day, that'll be another BHM.

Idiots who panic when they see a blue light. Country road and police stuck behind an artic coming the opposite direction. No place for truck or the line of cars on my side to pass. Best carry on as you will all pass in seconds. No, at least four cars in front decide to put the hazards on and slow down to at least 5mph. Arse wipe in front of me decides its better to stop. It was a country road and no way the police would squeeze between arse wipe and the truck never mind me in a large van.

It's all very well making a law that you must have winter tyres OR normal tyres but carry snow chains but, if the clowns that drive to the alps in the winter on normal tyres don't know when to stop and put them on, or how to put them on, the law isn't very bloody helpful!!

Took me more than 20 minutes to do a 7 or 8 minute drive (my timing in the conditions, not on a dry road!). Minimal snowfall but clowns to the left of me and jokers to the right!!

It does frustrate me a bit when people drive at approx 5kmph and then stop on a corner to work out how to put on those chain things on

But hey. This year at least I get paid for the hours! :bblonde:

Samsung. Logging in on a mobile you need a two step verification code what is sent to your phone by text. Fine. I have a new phone and new number and do not have the old phone nor sim. Try and do it online via laptop you also need the code sent to mobile and no email option. Spent the last hour going round and round on the web to get nowhere but i did fine in the FAQ how to change your number you have stored in the account. Great so i start that. First name, easy. Last name, just as easy, DOB, had a wobble and now they want the IMEI and the phone i last logged in with. The bloody phone i dont have. So now i cant use the smart things app to allow me to use my soundbar using my phone, Cant get to pictures stored and any Samsung backups i may have. Sod them. Think ill just stick with Google who make things simple

Our Nissan Trail.

Boot decided wouldn't open today, turns out it was the switch on the outside of the boot. Said switch is not easy to replace as taking the boot plastic lining off is next to impossible. Luckily the reason the switch failed was that the little rubber seal had cracked allowing all the road dirt to get inside. Switch is now flushed with contact lube and working........for the moment. Arms now scratched to pieces after refitting all the plastics and bolts I removed in an attempt to get at the other side of the switch on the inside of the boot.

Revolut

I hate Revolut. Have always hated the set up. Only kept a card because everyone seems to use the system and so in theory it should be simple

It fcking isn't simple when you are trying to talk to customer service online. They may type that they are human, but they sure as hell don't speak/understand english (or french!!)

Goods that are manufactured to a cost and sold at premium. One of the indicators I fitted just snapped this morning. No flex in the stem and plastic was brittle. They were not the cheapest ones out there and I had hoped they would do the trick. Going back to OEM and will fit them at some point. Need to sort out the connectors first as the ones on there are not very nice. I need clear lenses and amber bulbs for rear indicators as well. All adds up to a bike looking a bit better.

Tony Blair getting a knighthood! He should be tried for war crimes not knighted! :angry-cussingblack:

Don't suppose this will change anything but I signed it in the vain hope it'd gather enough signatures to make the news!

Not a massive one here but it's just a Netflix niggle.
Depth of field, what the hell cameras are they using to have such a crappy depth of field?
They get blurred chest and in focus nose.
I get that sometimes having a out of focus area can be used to draw the eyes into the in focus area yada yada yada but its like they just learned the trick and are using it on everything. It's just a bit wanky.
