The other reality is that I am negative, but it could get that result due to not enough DNA again.... hoping for the latter!!
Are you short of DNA? I've got loads.

Royal Mail delivered a parcel to my Mum's on Monday. She didn't answer the door as she is bedbound so they left it by the recycle bin and put a note through the door "Left in your safe place, by the recycle bin". A carer picks up the note and puts it somewhere. I didn't see the note when I went round on Monday. My son saw the note on Tuesday and checks by the recycle bin. Nothing. The recycling was collected that morning

The wife getting a tax refund of £350.

Then the next day getting a demand for £6806.53.

Obviously a cock up in the system somewhere as she hasn’t earned enough to pay tax for donkeys years but a day of my life I won’t get back sorting it no doubt (I was the employer)

Hermes. They are fucking wank. Payed for next day delivery on two parcels going to two different destinations. Neither arrived and the web site has no contact us to kick up hell. Just some automated robot that send you round in circles. Cunts. I only use them to save me a walk into the post office as the drop off shop it just round the corner. Looks like they dont do Facebook also so cant kick up hell there. Im no happy

Hermes are indeed cvnts.

BUT...we did just get three of the same thing thanks to them. Two deliveries which never arrived, followed by three in one go: The lost original, it's lost replacement and the replacement's replacement.

Seller doesn't want the two replacements back so we're three for the price of one thanks to Hermes.

Ed Sheeran and Elton John gaming the system to produce an instantly forgettable Christmas number 1.

Only made number 2 though. Number 5 is my favourite.

In the top five we have one serious new song which has been beaten by a rather boring parody of it, then there are two 80s songs and a recording of someone repeatedly slagging of the prime minister and being as offensive as possible.
You aren't missing much.

And in 50 years time pensioners will (still) be telling their grandkids that they don't write songs like they used to. :)

It'll be true, as it is now and as it was 50 years ago.

You're right. This modern rubbish isn't a patch on Greensleeves or a nice Gregorian chant. :)

Records are made to be broken. This one is no exception.

Records are really hard to break now they're all online, they're just way tougher than the old vinyl discs.
