Re: Marmite Bikes
I like them, I keep looking for a sensibly priced 400, the old 1100 and 1000 are big old lumps and I've already had the same bike in different clothes.

If everyone likes them, then they're not Marmite
I think the new one is proper Marmite.
I liked the 750 with the popup headlamp.

Re: Marmite Bikes
Cool styling but starting to look 80s old fashioned like a delorean or a roll neck sweater.
If you beefed it up with modern running gear (yes I know it's been done) then I guess maybe

Re: Marmite Bikes
There's at least one person this forum that doesn't like them.KungFooBob wrote: ↑Fri Dec 24, 2021 1:02 pm If everyone likes them, then they're not Marmite

The new one is a bike I want to like, but I really can't, the standard GSX-S 1000 is better looking

Re: Marmite Bikes
Well now. If it's bikes that some people love that brings others out in hives, fits of insults and general malice, look no further than:
1. BMW GS's
2. Harleys (any)
3. Cruisers (any)
4. Electric (any)
5. Bikes that aren't a Suzuki or Husky (Balearic category)
6. Anything with a brown seat.

Re: Marmite Bikes
Back in the day a couple of my mates ran Katana's,they thought the big Kat's were the dogs,I never understood, still don't...
KTM's,pointy looking orange things,I'm certain some of them are really good bikes, but I've never managed to get past the styling.
Big F-off ADV bikes, you're taking that two wheeled tank off road? Really?
Harley's seem to divide opinion.
