If I wanted a sports tourer I would buy a Honda 800 VFR
It doesn't have 150 BHP, but I doubt you actually need that much except on track.

Maybe leaning a bit too much to the touring side and 21,000€ here. OopsKungFooBob wrote: ↑Fri Dec 17, 2021 5:59 pm https://www.motorcyclenews.com/bike-rev ... 260s/2018/

21k!
That must be the V4 surely?
The older V2 isn't quite as powerful, but 150+ BHP should be enough for anyone

Cant beleive nobody has mentioned,
Panigale.

A sports tourer doesnt need 150hp, that's the thing. Bucket full of low end torque, healthy dose of mid range and a decent amount of top end because you generally dont ride them that hard.

Re: Maybe Time For A Change ?
Have to accept sportsbikes look the best and anything comfier and roomier looks worse. Adventure bikes are awesome and just as quick a to b on the road. Lots to choose from, the traditional sports tourers are dying out as adv bikes are so good.

My 2013 jobby was as comfy as a comfy thing. Suzuki made this one too track focused.

- yeah I know you can't see me unless someone quotes me, and even if they do, you still of course still won't read it
but it's there if you want some real world opinions
But in all seriousness I really don't think it's the bike you're looking for given your criteria,- competent enough but I'd be surprised if it lit your fire when riding it, but mainly as it really (really) isn't a great two up bike- my OH, who absolutely loves the Multistrada, and even said she enjoyed the one go she had on the back of my 890, hated the 1000SX-
If you are serious about buying a non-Suzuki, I think you need to take your no-fairing blinkers off and ride an MT10- in terms of wind protection they are pretty good as standard without anything, certainly loads better than you'd think they were from just looking at them, but with just a little extra screen like in this pic, all day100-120mph cruising is comfortable.
In all honestly, they probably aren't really much, if any better for pillions than a 1000SX, but if you ever ride one, I guarantee that won't matter so much to you
Anyway, just my thoughts FWIW, although having said all that, I reckon its all immaterial anyway, as everybody knows that if you do end up swapping the Gixxer out, it will be for a GSX-S...

Re: Maybe Time For A Change ?
I think you'd need to put the blinkers on to buy an MT-10, it really is very ugly
