Re: What have you done today thread?
Yay! I'm officially back at work!!
Roads were lovely and clear at 7am, although it was -9 degrees, so still a gentle drive down.
Got to Lyon airport early, flight landed early, passengers through arrivals very late
But, still got them to resort fine, slight detour with a threatened queue on the main road, but it cleared so we went back on
Now chilling for an hour or so then heading down to the valley to go to the office, then up to Les Arcs to do some 'shuttle' bus runs for the film festival.
Long first day, but I'm just happy to be working again

Mrs D and I have an app for it now 5 points for sweeping the living room. 75 points for cleaning an oven etc.
Mostly because we're fucking terrible and keeping on top of everything and a bit of organising helps, but of course partly so I can kick her arse at the hoovering

If I can give one housework tip: microfibre cloths. Can never have enough of 'em. Damped them with a little water and they're good for getting dog hair off carpet, cleaning windows, dusting Venetian blinds, you name it.

Got the fuel filter fitted to the fuel pump and put it back in the tank with new gasket. Started the bike!
Fetched my son from train station, very happy to have him home.
Sorted out a few bits and pieces, cooked dinner, finished sermon for tomorrows service and just need to find a suitable blessing for the Carol service I am at tomorrow as well.
Just had a lovely glass of Ardbeg with the wife and now to relax a bit and then to bed!

Got surprise booster jabs. I took my son down for his first jab and they had some spares so I've been able to cancel the NYE appointments for my wife and me.

Re: What have you done today thread?
Just dropped Mrs. Gremlin off at A&E. We went out to dinner last night, hence we had a bit if a lie in this morning. She got up to make a brew and when she came back announced that she didn't feel 'right'. I've looked at her face and her lips are swollen, as is the inside of her mouth. Looks like an allergic reaction, albeit not a rapid one. She said there was a tingling in her mouth and down her throat, so no messing about, took her straight to the local hossie.
Just waiting to hear, but I think a shot of adrenaline will sort her out then try to figure what caused it as she doesn't have any known allergies.
Strangely, her dinner last night had a langoustine on it. In a game of allergy Cluedo, you always suspect the shellfish....

A neg- lateral flow test!
Which unfortunately confirms what I thought, that somebody either screwed up my PCR test or gave me the wrong results
Sadly, by law I have to wait til the 16/12 as the PCR trump's the LFT.

Re: What have you done today thread?
I worked again today I'm freaking knackered! almost 14 hours yesterday (with a gap in the middle!! Not all in a row!) and 8 today with breaks just to load and unload passengers!!! But it's bloody brilliant!
I'm now sitting here waiting for 7pm to find out if I'm working tomorrow! If not I may stay out for more than one drink with a mate (meeting in a few mins) and I can go ski in the morning if not working!! A friend here bought my lift pass for me, I haven't been able to use it yet!!!
TBF, I just need a start after midday and I can go ski!!!!

I went to Potteric Carr.
Last time I went I was in Junior School, probably 35 years ago.
