Sadly seems to be going down the road of 2 mates joshing each other. A shame as he is a gifted person and when left to his own devices has done some very interesting things. I wonder whether the current format was his idea or foisted on him by the programme producers.
I was really pleased that they have toned down the recap after every ad break. Previous stuff GM was involved with was patronising.
I was really disappointed that 'we' get to see just about f-all of the fabrication.

I watched the latest one about racing a Defender. The daft thing was that he paid £5,000 for a rotten Defender. He could have bought an MoT failure Discovery for £1,000 - all he'd need to buy would be the prop shaft from a 90 as he was buying a new chassis anyway. Allthe power train, axles etc are identical....

Quite interesting programme but far from "must see".

Not sure if I've mentioned Paul Brodie on this thread but I like his delivery. Enthusiastic, knowledgeable but absolutely not a loud bullshitter.

Mighty Car Mods on YouTubes. Pair of Aussie knobbers mucking about with cars (and occasionally a bike). Good awareness on Mental Health and just a nice channel to watch. Tavarish is fun, a bit odd at times, but he is "normal".

Tried Rust to Riches, but too scripted, the others are just daft TV, not really believable or even realistic. Guy Martin's stuff is pretty much what you see is what you get.

Humble mechanic is very watchable even though I have no interest in fixing VW's and Audis

I find Junkyard Digs quite good, again, I'm not particularly interested in *what they do, but I do like watching how they do it. They explain what they are doing and the editing/camera work is pretty good.
*In America, find an old car that's been stood for years, try and get it running !

Kevin Talbot is also watchable, though he's a little over enthusiastic so I do turn the volume down a wee bit!
He buys remote control cars, upgrades them and tests them until the break :obscene-drinkingcheers:

Been watching Mat Armstrong on YT lately. I like his enthusiasm and admire how open he is with the mistakes he makes.

Not really got a go to at the moment, constantly watching aviation stuff but at times I end up watching absolute pish and wonder how I got there.

Can’t remember the name of the channels but watched a lot of proper engineering stuff for a while, OCS engineering and Superbike factory. Jim’s stuff is good, he’s leaps and bounds ahead of numpties like “Delboys garage”……….
