No Time To Die (Cinemas and streaming rental)
After the lacklustre Spectre, Daniel Craig returnes in his second best outing as Bond. Cracking action, gorgeously filmed locations and lovely ladies all feature in Craig's final outing.
I think I must have seen a different film. One caveat - I do wear hearing aids - but function pretty normally with them in. The soundtrack on the film was awful, indecipherable when Malik was speaking, and the French/ Norwegian bint - hence I really had no idea what was going on.
It seems like Malik had kept the teeth from Bohemian Rhapsody, and decided to use them as a prop in this film - which made the voice track even worse. On of the worst ever "dialled in" performance I have seen lately. I guess he also thought the script was shit! Perhaps he said at the start of the filming " My character has no motive for what he is doing" and the director said " yes, you are right"
There was a bit where Malik's crew managed to kill the whole of Spectre "just like that" - so why couldn't all of the world's spy community have done the same?
And then it moved onto nanobots - rather than a world plague . Maybe the script writers were worried because of Covid.
James squeeze and Craig had no chemistry what so ever - so a mono dimensional key relationship
It was a bit rubbish. Maybe when it comes on TV , I will be able to understand the subtleties as bit better.
