Pony would be buzzing, they're ghastly, white with a big neon pink stripe right through them.
Aren't they the ones which only last like 100km?

I can see myself buying a lot of Brookes shoes in future, but mostly 'cause Mrs. D is now an official "ambassador" for them

No, they're the top racing shoes.
The ones I got are these https://www.nike.com/gb/running/zoom-tempo which are apparently more of a training shoe than a racing shoe, so should be good for about 500 miles, or kilometres, can't remember which.

At the moment I'm running about 30-40km a week, so they should last me a bit.

I have used Adidas Ultraboost for ages, but I bought new ones recently and they've changed them, resulting in pain from the uppers. On the plus side it did make me realise I'd used my old ones for too long, compared to the new ones they feel like a busted old couch.

I'll try these Nikes and see how I get on.
Running shoes are one of those things I should really replace more often than I do. Every time I get a new pair I think "wow, this is so much better!" and then promptly forget the benefit and leave it too long again.

I'm the same with haircuts.

Same - with running shoes, not haircuts.

I err towards Saucony as I like the fit. My current Mad River II shoes started off sooooo cushioned, but are now feeling a bit flat. Great trail running shoes, mind.

New Shoei GT Air 2 and Sena SRL2 comms, which are designed to fit together harmoniously.

I waited for Black Friday, which turned out to be the expected arse biscuit, but kept checking all the usual suspects. Yesterday I saw Helmet City were doing a price match for £585 for the pair. Being a smart cookie / tight git, I asked Moto Legends if they would beat the deal by 10% as per their website pledge. As it happened, they did and I got them both for £548.

Merry Christmas to me from Mrs. Gremlin. :king:

I bought a coffee machine by accident.

Went to Curry's to pick up a Dyson hair dryer that the FiL wanted for MiLs birthday and spotted this reduced by 200 and something quid due to being ex-display with an additional 20% off.

£375, which was nice.

It looked cheap, so we found a sales guy, he pulled it off the 'reduced' shelf and sat it on the counter. Then mentioned that there was no box or filter, or even a power cord and that's why it was so cheap. We were about about to tell him to put it back when he said he'd go have a look in the warehouse see if he could at least find the filter.

All the other stuff on the reduced shelf had boxes on the shelf below.

He came back after 5 minutes, with a box, filter, cleaning kit, power cord, everything it should come with!

Was a no brainer then.

A couple of tickets to go and see Rich Hall.
Pleasing because he's funny, he's doing small town shows, the price per ticket is less than 20 quid and it's a five minute walk from my front door

Finally got round to buying an ABBA stand.

I was almost tempted by the addon tool tray.

Coming to a garage near you, a forkless GSXR1100

I've been missing Mexican food so I done gone got me a tortilla press what for making low carb tortilla's.

I'll give it a whirl tonight and see if the new age hippy dippy online recipes work, although god knows what psyllium husks are
