That kind of carbon is some of the easiest sort of carbon to make though, once you've got the kit. Composites have been around long enough now that there are loads of ex motorsport types with 25 year's experience making bodywork who can knock this sort of stuff out in week.

Indeed one of the main reasons CF is so prevelant in motorsport is not for performance, its cause its so easy to knock out brackets and panels and the like in low volumes. We'd make little brackets like that instrument stack literally overnight for the F1 customers.

There's some substantial up front equipment investment for sure though.
