On the road I’ve had 3, first two were minor but the third was a big one, thankfully I didn’t hit anything but ended up with some bad injuries.

On the track and racing it’s been 6 I think, one was riding over someone during a track day which wasn’t ideal, he spent the night in hospital but was ok in the end up. One was a high side which ended up with me in hospital and another I ended up with a badly broken arm, the rest were minor. Oh one of them I was blootered from the side so not my fault.

Landing the high side, trying to kiss my own arse by the looks of it………couldn’t get in that position again if I tried!

Was it the cannondale or the Husaberg ?
It was the only Husaberg I've ever ridden :D

Nothing major, ran into the back of a lorry at low speed 'cos the brakes were rubbish (aged 16, Lambretta), low speed on wet grass on a Yamaha 'scrambling' day etc.
The one that still makes me go cold was a near miss, instant death for the two of us job if it had happened...
France, getting dark, late because I'd followed the GPS to the wrong place/same name. Fully loaded K1200LT, wife on back. Came out of a tunnel approaching the hotel, riding on right, hotel on left and involved a u-turn as their drive ran back in the direction we'd come from. So tight that they'd widened the road on the right so you could widen the u-turn. So, gingerly went right then swung left across the road towards the entrance. I'd seen car lights some distance behind as we entered the tunnel.
The car had come out of the tunnel at full chat, like really, really full chat, to be confronted by a bike broadside on in the road. Cue smoking tyres, car out of shape and struggling to keep the car on the road having (just) missed us. He disappeared down the road wrestling with the car. I almost s**t myself.

My fault, tired, late, etc etc. Nearly the 'late Count Steer + wife'. Some have said he shouldn't have been going so fast but I say 'irrelevant', I should have stopped and checked how close those headlights were and how fast he was closing before turning.
Doubt is not a pleasant condition.
But certainty is an absurd one

Fell off the KR1S due to ineptitude.
Lowsided the 9R at Brands coming out of Druids, too much throttle and ineptitude
Ran off the track at Rockingham on the 9R due to trying to ride around the outside of a Blade and hitting a lump of mud because they only just finished building the track. Bike sank in the gravel and then fell over.
Somebody pulled out in front of me whilst on the 9R, didn't drop it but cracked the fairing as I rubbed the side of his van.
Lowside at Silverstone on the K1 on a warm up lap due to cold tyres and a very cold track. Truly have no idea as I wasn't going quick and I was mid pack but suddenly I'm on my arse.
Bulgarian Drug Dealer/Pimp turned left into me on the ZH2 (I was in a bus lane at the time). Stayed upright (mainly due to rage). New crash bung, belly pan and brake pedal, he needed a new wing after the crash bung "tin openered" his BMW.
"Of all the stories you told me, which ones were true and which ones weren't?"
"My dear Doctor, they're all true."
"Even the lies?"
"Especially the lies."

Not me  1 in 20 years.

I was riding through town one 2nd of January - first day back to work after Christmas. A lady coming in the opposite direction decided to take a right in front of me.

I don't remember anything until I was in the ambulance and the lovely paramedic asked me what day it was. I'd been chatting away - no idea what I'd been saying - but as soon as they asked me that, I realised that I had no idea what day it was. I looked around for clues :? and saw some Christmas decorations in the shop window and announced "It's around about Christmas :D ". They took me to hospital and I discharged myself a few hours later - no injuries - apart from the odd twitch :wtf:

Not long after getting my first road legal GS125 aged 17 a car reversed straight out onto a NSL road from behind a brick wall. Hit it at the rear pillar at about 50 mph and flew over the top denting to roof and smashing the rear window. Wrote off the bike as the forks were snapped. Walked away from that one completely uninjured much to my surprise

Replacement GS125 was crashed 2-3 times due to ambition exceeding talent while cornering but no real injuries

Entered a club race weekend on an RD250LC aged about 19. 4 races, 1 finish, 3 crashes all at the Knockhill hairpin, 2 getting taken out by others , 1 all my own work. Decided at that point racing wasnt for me

Took avoiding action on mates GPz750 aged 19 when a kid ran into the road in front of me and took to wet grass to avoid child so ended up sliding down the grass on my arse looking at bits coming off mates bike as it slid along beside me :(

After 19 i seemed to learn how to ride without contact with the tarmac even during a stint as a bike courier aged 20/21

Stopped on hill junction on way over to Animals place aged mid 30's and right foot hit some loose gravel and slid out so ZX636 went over while completely stationary. Snapped rear brake lever

Aged 51 riding home from Pembrey Extravaganza in torrential storm on Multistrada and after 300 miles hit a pothole 25 miles from home. Tankslapper at about 80 ish mph which threw me off the bike across 2 lanes of traffic and into the barriers of the central reservation. Lots of internal ligament and tendon damage in left shoulder, couple of cracked ribs from barrier upright post and one written off Ducati. 9 months of no riding due to injury and surgery but i think i got off lightly as i was heading under the barrier towards the oncoming fast lane when i hit the upright so could have been a lot worse ;)

Not a bad record for 37 years riding all year round, in all weathers and mileage into the distance to the moon and back again

Its one of those places people sneak into a lot but quietly have a look and normally sneak out again without being seen (posting) ;)

TBF, I keep coming back to read this cos it makes me feel better about being a FUF!! I know the label is valid, but not so much for bikes it seems :D :D :D

I was going to post earlier - 3 x knocked off .
Reversed into x 2 (you’d think I’d learned my lesson )
And someone pulling out of junction across my path and driving into me and then pissing off .
I also crashed completely of my own accord on a wet road on my SRX -sliding down the road in my padded wax jacket and my Cheapo open face lid bouncing on the road - bruised ribs which started hurting quite a lot 3 days later .
Not lots judging by other posts - but I’m not complacent

I posted a list here earlier, but every time I read someone else's I think "oh yeah, one of them too" :)

Another 'ice'

Rear-ending another bike at a junction

The SMIDSY in stop-start traffic where the car hit the back of the bike

Knocked over in a car park (not on it)

Sideswipe by an oncoming car. I don't know whether he was intending to just get close (his lane was wide enough for two vehicles) - but it bent both crash bars (and took paint off his car, hah!)

(To be fair, that lot's in 38 years riding)

The high side. Ended up in hospital but got the bike rebuilt for the Endurance race the following weekend.

The incident where I rode over Roy (didn’t know him until after)……….I thought he was dead, laying there motionless. He was out cold for at least 10 minutes but was showing vital signs according to the medic at the time, I did come back over to check he was ok, honest

LOL I've had bikes for 19 years and done a lot of miles (for an average rider, not a courier!!) and got taught to basically RLAT!!! But I'm still amazed reading some of this

I've had one seriously near miss, others have been close but not so close that I arrive at work white as a sheet!! So haven't counted those!! LOL

First proper crash was me going through a gap and forgetting about the BFO crash bars fitted to the bike. Escort/crash bar interface that tipped me off and bent the crash bar up into the carb.
Mother of all slappers at uh hum mph on a z1000, kerb started to approach very rapidly so bailed out.
Various moped mayhem incidents
Ts125x on a LDT, launched it on the speed trial into a tree, dislocated shoulder.
Ns400, trouser leg caught on footrest at junction
Looped various x'ers
VD Nhro, binned it within 5 miles of the start, kicked bike straight and finished the day.
Oulton park, woke up staring at the air ambulance paramedics nostrils.
