Have you ridden a Modern ADV bike? I'd have one before a traditional sports tourer. I replaced my Honda VFR800 with Triumph Tiger 800 and its a much more capable bike unless you want to Cruise at 110mph. Comfort is better, weather protection is better, the riding position is more comfortable and gives you a better view of the world. The longer travel suspension gives a much more plush ride on our shitty roads. They're better for pillions usually too.Le_Fromage_Grande wrote: ↑Tue Nov 16, 2021 9:21 pm There's a magazine just for Adventure Bike riders!
Does it have fascinating articles on how to tackle speed bumps and other tarmac obstacles, cos the fools are never going to ride them on a loose surface.
If I was buying a new bike it would deffo be an ADV - either a Triumph 900 Tiger, a V2 Multistrada, a Tracer GT or an Africa Twin (though that Morini looks good!).
