Re: interesting bikes found randomly..
One ex presented me with her carefully selected clothes for the trip including a hat in a hat box. The damn thing was almost as big as one of the panniers!

Re: interesting bikes found randomly..
To be fair i took that much to Norway. Left full pannier was tent and sleeping bag, Right half pannier (exhaust cut out)was all clothes, wash kit etc. The top box was all cooking kit and all my food for the 2 and a half weeks. Add on a roll mat and some other stuff on the pillion seat. Bike was on max weight for departure but got lighter as the trip progressed and we got through the food and 2 bottles of spirits (Vodka and Whisky). Both of then for possible bribery due to exorbitant cost of legal alcohol in Norway but we ended up consuming them

The top one is okay, I'd quite like to be able to buy the bike and then put a fibre glass body kit on it to make it look like whatever bike I wanted, would a fake Yoshimura GS1000 engine be a bit too naff?

Looks like someone hit the bike up the arse... and I'm not putting my foot near that chain either.

I wonder if there's actually a class you can race it in though?Demannu wrote: ↑Tue Nov 23, 2021 7:56 pm Surprised LGF hasn't been wanking all over this

CRMC wouldn't let it in and maybe not Earlystocks.

It's an awful lot of money for what it is, it's been for sale for ages, I can't see it being worth more than £3K at most, and that's being pretty generous. Not that I want it.

Louis Lucien Lepoix and his spectacular, futuristic bodywork for his BMW R12
In 1947, Lepoix founded his own design atelier, initially focussing on two-wheeled projects, beginning with this amazingly futuristic bodywork for his 1934ish BMW R12, a 750cc sidevalve flat-twin with pressed-steel ‘Star’ frame, which when new was considered quite stylish, with a bit of Art Deco flair.

If it weren't for the obviously old photo technology that could pass for a modern custom and rider.
