If it's like mine, the little button on the end of the cruise arm is actually the speed limiter.

To turn on the cruise you just push up... then up again to go faster, down for slower, etc.. just like the Beemer one. Just don't touch the button on the end.

A friend wanted to go to Ikea at Grenoble, so while he went in there, I visited a couple of the therapists at the rehab place I was in. I wanted to show them how brilliantly my arm works now but cos I fell over, it doesn't work as well as it did!! LOL Hey ho!

Then we went to Chambery so I could see a Doc that I've been waiting 4.5 months to see (turns out the first appointment was cancelled because she had back surgery :o !) - good appointment though so I'm happy :)

Then back to his place cos the Monster was in the garage by his place and I need to ride to school tomorrow :( Riding home was about 2 miles. But, dark, foggy (low flying cloud?), new tarmac for some of it :o :o :o None of my favourite things. New tarmac that's a couple of days used I like, but new that was laid in the fog this morning and has been fogged on all day is not so confidence inspiring to me at the mo! But I got home safe (albeit at about 20mph!!) and am now procrastinating as i have homework to do for tomorrow.

Although I suspect I'll be late cos if the forecast happens to be right, I might wait a bit to ride to the valley!! Of course, there's a good chance it's wrong in which case I'll be on time!! LOL
Life is for living. Buy the shoes. Eat the cake. Ride the bikes. Just, ride the bikes!! :bblonde:

The Jaguar main dealer went a step further and added all of them to the invoice without asking me. They must have thought they were helping me as they got the right hump when I told them to go back and redo the paperwork.

That would tick me off to the max. At least Audi threw in the alloy wheel damage insurance as a bonus and I actually wanted the Autoglym treatment but they didn't really get pushy about anything. They just said 'we have to tell you about....' and explained about anything I asked. Quite a pleasant experience really. Particularly as the car was one that they'd not even had chance to get on display. They asked about current vehicles and found out about a certain penchant for bikes and said 'Ah..sir will be wanting a bit of oomph'. :D

When I bought the wifes Aygo from Toyota, I haggled and got the gap insurance, paint/dent insurance and the scotchguard/diamond protection bollocks chucked in for free... and a grand off the list price.

One of my neighbours has not long got a purple Aygo. TBH in bland reds/whites its just another car but for some reason it looks smart as in Purple.

Tis a LuLu of a car though. 58k with FMBSH. Straight as a gun barrel. Bit gutless after the Bimmer, but that wont be a bad thing. Felt fecking luvverly to be back in a Merc though.

I quite fancy an E class drophead, but finding it hard to justify at the mo.

I also fancy a new Tiger 900 GT Pro.

And a mint Rev 5 MR2.

And this is why I have to stay off of eBay and the like. :P

Looks nice.

Turkey is a dry meat. Grinding it into a patty ain't doing it any favours. That'll be dry as a nun's nasty.

Had an appointment with the abdominal aortic screening people. I didn't even know it was a thing.

The do an ultrasound, like a baby scan. Turns out I'm neither pregnant, nor in possession of an enlarged aorta.

Which is cool on both counts.

Rock and roll lifestyle me.

I did the treadmill heart check thingy. About 20 mins and was fit to drop at the end. But I wanted to push my heart to the limit to check all is well. Doc was very impressed. Now just need to alter my diet to bring down the high blood pressure .
