No arguments from me on that... assuming it rides nicely, i'd be all over that when we have to move to electric. As far as 'looks' go, it ticks most of the boxes for me.

Looks ok that. It looks like it would be fun to ride. I'm probably in a minority but I think the original doesn't look bad either (although, amusingly, it looks a bit top heavy).

As usual, those bar end mirrors would be in the bin. The originals look and probably work better.

Bodywork could have been so much better, but I still love it.

Looks like it was designed by someone who hadn't seen a bike before. Hideous.

Probably cause the motor spins really fast. Leccy motors generally get more efficient if you go faster, so you'll have a big reduction ratio.

EDIT

Actually looking at it the motor goes straight onto the front sprocket I think? Normally you'd have a couple of gear steps between the output and the sprocket (even on an ICE) but this bike appears to do it all in one hop. Hence the massively different sprockets.

Looks pretty funky. I like the way Zero design their electric bikes without seeming to desperately want to copy ICE bike designs, but still making them look like bikes. I like the tank storage, too. Alcohol is of course the optimum use for it.
