The MP was put in place of Keith Vaz when he was run out of town for cocaine fuelled rent boy parties
Her defence read out character references from former Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn, ex-shadow chancellor John McDonnell and former shadow home secretary Diane Abbott supporting their former colleague.
So she's a convicted criminal that forced a woman into hiding, threatening her with acid attacks, etc - and Corbyn/McDonnell et al all rush to defend her and managed to get her a suspended sentence - basically another criminal MP walks off free.
No thought if you are a doctor on call or any part of the emergency services. Even waiting to rush the pregnant wife to hospital. Arseholes need taken down.
Well not quite todays news but after having the house of lords bounce it back it seems the Conservatives have voted (by a landslide) to allow water treatment companies to dump more raw sewage into our waterways again.
It seems the treatment companies are having problems getting some of the chemicals needed to treat it due to Brexit restrictions.
So thats nice then.

It seems the treatment companies are having problems getting some of the chemicals needed to treat it due to Brexit restrictions.

I could discuss bikes, but having raced in BMCRC for 10 years am no longer interested in track days or road riding.
I kite surf in the Solent all year round every day when there is suitable wind.
When there is no wind I often ride a mountain bike (customised Trek Fuel EX) on trails and downhills.
Not interested in eBikes.

Also the Conservatives still voted to relax the restrictions about sewage being released into the rivers and surrounding sea, an issue I assumed you as a kitesurfer might be concerned about.
Another point is the exporting of shellfish which will be far more likely to contain Hep A, I can't see that going down well, can you?

A recent report by Transport Intelligence highlighted the fact that Britain is not alone in Europe when it comes to HGV driver shortages. Data from 2020 shows Germany short of 45,00-65,000 drivers, while in Poland, whose population is just over 50% of the UK's, the number is almost 124,000 - noticeably higher than the 100,000 UK figure referred to by the RHA. Despite this, shelves in Poland's supermarkets are fully stocked. Moreover, there are next-to-no reports of pubs or restaurants experiencing supply chain issues. Naturally, this begs the question, how can this disparity exist despite the driver shortage arguably being worse in Poland? In order to find out why, we spoke to Michael Clover, Transport Intelligence's Head Of Commercial Development.
After being asked that very question regarding the driver shortages in Poland and the apparent disparity in supply chain disruption compared to Great Britain, Mr Clover explained that post-Brexit changes have been an additional factor for UK supply chains.
