Mine are both Halfords and cheaper ones and TBH the amount i've opened and closed them must be in the tens of thousands. Still work fine.

But as for which model, i dunno.

Can't see any reason the Halfords won't be great though, they usually are.

I've got the older version of those and they are excellent. Are there better value ones? I don't know.

I've had a Halfords chest for over 20 years, it's still going strong

I've got the cheaper red ones, had them ages. They're fine, but it would have been nice to have the roller bearing drawers like those.

I've got their professional, Advanced and Industrial stuff.
I prefer the drawers / closures on the Industrial range but I don't think they do it any longer, that said the soft close on the Advanced line is pretty natty

My set is very similar to Mr Longbeard’s although my top cabinets only has full width drawers rather than the smaller ones. It has been pretty much bombproof.

Only issue I’ve had was trying to re-engage the drawer slides after moving it into the house while the garage is being built. I’ll no doubt encounter the same unless I fully empty each drawer before reattaching to the runners*

* It is far too heavy to move when the stocked drawers are in it.

I have the whole set of Professional ones - which now seem to be called "Advanced"

They are very good
