I think you'll struggle to do better than KFBs £500 deal a lot of the time.

Who's going to be the first one here to buy a battery bike and tell us all about it?

I think they look superb and would love to see that when I open the garage door, £3500 down and £99 a month to make it happen…couldn’t see me using it much though lolweeksy wrote: ↑Tue Nov 09, 2021 6:15 am Fireblade SP, 0% finance and £2000 off.

I'd love one, especially a Zero, but I have no idea about reliability and longevity, availability of cycle parts, dealer back up etc. They're just too much money though and that's the real killer.

Nope, motorcycles are meant to be toys not appliances

This ^^^.
It'll surprise no-one that I think electric motors are just as exciting as piston engines, but I'm just not buying a 20k bike whatever it's powered by.

Re: What's the best deal out there at the moment?
The best deal is to obviously just ride the one you have in the garage a bit more and a bit better..
But I guess that is not the point !

That depends on how intelligent (or otherwise) you and a wife are - And, of course, what decade you're living in

Re: What's the best deal out there at the moment?
I briefly considered the Zero FX but their qouted range is 70 miles and in real life is closer to 50 which is exactly what my commute is, I’m not that much of a chancer so not really a goer and at over 10k there’s a whole world of bikes I’d rather have.

Re: What's the best deal out there at the moment?
I've just been reading review of the DL1050 V-Strom, it mentioned that they have an IMU with hill decent, cornering ABS, traction, etc...
It also claimed it was the best value ADV at £12k.
I had a quick look on t'bay and spotted this...
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/154745400691
That's one hell of a deal.
Shame it's the shittest of the colours.
