I might get the GSX out today, but it sounds a bit windy at the moment.
Apologise to the wife and go out. She may appreciate the calm
She's snoozing at the moment, I might get out of bed and make a cup of tea
I've been out for a couple of hours already,ya idle twonk. Get up,time's a wasting.

3 hours out on the bike this morning, I've now done 425 miles on it, I'd forgotten that Suzuki build bikes that encourage riding like a twat, I've been revving the knackers off it and really enjoying riding it.

My screen from Thailand arrived today, it's fitted , looks good, photos will follow when when the weather is better and there's some day light, a picture of the bike in the garage doesn't quite work.

Been out on it today, no pictures as there was nowhere photogenic, new screen is good, makes riding at over 80 much more comfortable, my mate spotted a load of little cracks in the headlight, turns out it's not uncommon, and Suzuki will replace the headlight under warranty, just as well because it's £300.

Will the new headlamp be an upgrade,or do they just keep feeding the bike headlamps when they crack under warranty?

Apparently just keep changing the headlights, it's caused by the heat from the bulb, and the answer is to fit an LED bulb in place of the Halogen.

I've fitted my new screen but not rode with it yet, hurt my back. If it gives me head wobble, it'll go the weeksy way.

On mine the wind blast catches the top of my helmet at over 100 if I don't duck down a bit, but didn't make my head wobble.

So 80 odd mph cruising now comfy? That's what I'd want if I got one for the odd longer trip

I htought that only happened to Triumphs
Plenty of posts on my model Street Triple melting the lens's.One of my winter plans is to fit some LED's
The consensus on the forums is not to leave the bike idling for long as the lack of cooling air causes the lens to overheat & definitley don't fit one of those headlight protector things :wtf:

The screen fitted
Warranty claim put in today, the dealers don't think there'll be any problem with it, they've replaced a few already, and it might be the 3rd headlight my bike has had.
