KTM doing their usual thing with leftover bikes

Doesn't show there yet but the standard 890 is down from £9649 to £8199 and the 890R is down from £10649 to £9049
I'm betting you could even get it sweeter than that with some looking around and effort on the phone.

I wonder how that has an effect on those with PCP looking to get new bikes every couple of years and residual values. Surely it must impact the second hand KTM market

Doesn't seem to. I got my 1290GT when they did the same at the end of 2017. Knocking out pre-registered ones for £10,999. That was a chunk cheaper than second hand ones. Within 6 months or so it was like it didn't happen.

Yeah it seems to very short term but after 3-4 months it settles down. I paid £5999 for my last 690. That was brand new on a "let's shift these" type thing from KTM.
They're now at £6700 used and 2+ years old

A lot of us bought 390 dukes when they were being sold off at £3200 new, most sold a year or less later for more
