Indeed it's a bit/lot crazy, what i can't work out is, when the dealer swaps say the output shaft bearing/seals, they seem to be OK, so why are they still using the rubbish ones in the factory.Supermofo wrote: ↑Tue Jul 07, 2020 1:29 pmYup, surely it can't be that hard to make fluid tight bikes. The 2016 Duke tanks leaked and now the Husky's too.

And it doesn't seem the 790 leaks have been addressed at all. New bike still seem to have the same issues as launch bikes. Which is crazy.
Today was a commute to Reading to the office to sort a problem with some cabling. It was a good test of the bike as it's roads i know really well. Was most interesting as it's not a plush as the 690, but it's less bouncy, so more stable.... I guess it's the sort of road that shows the diffrence between types of bikes and suspension quite well. For part of the ride i wanted the best bits of the 690, for other parts i wanted the best bits of the XSR. I'm yet to be convinced there's an ideal bike for both aspects
I've put nearly as many miles on the XSR than i did in 10 months on the 690, which in itself much say a bit.
