Without being rude, do you feel you need a little piece of humble pie?

But glad you're happy :)

You always sort of hated newer bikes.

I thought I'd already admitted to talking out of my arse on that one, tbh I'm not that keen on how it looks, but it rides lovely, I've even fallen in love with the traction control and ABS - I'm not as good at throttle control as I thought I was, but I've always been shit at braking hard.

The looks are getting better the more I ride it, but wouldn't it be fantastic if it looked like Wes Cooley's GS1000

That'd be one of those things you didn't know you wanted until you tried and then couldn't live with out, I fear traction control has already done that to me, like a particularly good batch of crystal meth.

Next thing I'm thinking about changing is the exhaust, I'm not a fan of the Ixil twin tail pipe thing that's on it, I don't like how it looks or sounds, I'd prefer a more conventional looking black can with a rounded end, oval or tri-oval, the Ixil sounds to deep a noise, I'd prefer something that sounds more raspy, I've found a Black Widow that looks nice, but it's quite cheap, so it might be a bit naff.

I'd buy a Yoshimura can but they're expensive and my previous experience of Yoshi cans wasn't great - it was well made but knocked 10 mph off the top speed of my YZF750

Nothing says i'm poor and live on a council estate quite as much as a black widow end can.

Get an Arrow or something nice.

I've used these folk a time or two for different things, but they also make a selection of pipes, which sir may like.

I quite like the look of your stock cans.

The SP look interesting, and I'd seen the GR ones on eBay but hadn't really looked at them - which I'll now do.
I'm watching the Yoshi one but I'm not sure about the shape

The bloke I was chatting to in Minehead had a GR Moto one looked alright and sounded decent enough.

Some of the very cheap GR Moto ones on Ebay are lookalikeys ... mate has one on his Fazer 600. A bit like the Fakerapovic on my Fazer ;)

Are they still in business?
I haven't seen anything for the GSX that has the quality of construction that you got with a Micron can - what's annoying is that my FZR400 had a Micron can that was the right size for the GSX that went with the FZR
