Re: 2022 XSR900
Couple of bits I'm not keen on. Overall it's gone more RD/LC than full on café racer which may be good or bad depending on your views.
Forks and wheels are a yes, however not the seat

My eyes won't go past the swollen ass seat.
The yellow/black US Yam colours would generate more want with me. I usually like understated colours, but that's a bit bland.

It reminds me of the blue N2/F2 YPVS 350
You could put an FZ750 fairing and seat on it and have a nice looking bike

Quite nice, lovely colour. But back end. Flatter seat and some blue plastic behind it. The lack of bodywork behind seat is getting more common, but slightly flawed I reckon.

I wonder if the paddock stand has skewed the angles of the seat a little, it may not be as bad as we think.Dodgy knees wrote: ↑Wed Nov 03, 2021 8:08 am Quite nice, lovely colour. But back end. Nope it's still bad.
I think they're trying for the Giullari look, but it doesn't work.

Re: 2022 XSR900
I've just come back to it this morning thinking "surely not......" and unfortunately, it's awful. What the fuck have they done?!

Re: 2022 XSR900
I like it more than the old XSR900, but I didn't really like the old one - so it's not a high bar to clear
Lovely colour though.

Re: 2022 XSR900
There's some nice details. The bar end mirrors and the Brembo radial MC, etc.. it's just the seat killing it for me, but I suspect there's aftermarket parts companies all over the world jumping for joy.
The exhaust looks to be a single piece system, not good if you just want a load end can.
I wonder if the rear end from the 2021 MT-09 would fit, and would it look any better?

Re: 2022 XSR900
On the other XSR900 models they're a round retro style clock with a digital display. A common mod is to get a relocator bracket which moves them down into a far more pleasing position. Although that does mean you can't fit a screen then

Re: 2022 XSR900
That's the same on them all now, MT07, MT09, XSR700, XSR900, has been for years. Single piece and if you want just a can, you get the saw out.KungFooBob wrote: ↑Wed Nov 03, 2021 9:56 am
