There's something unreal about all those pictures, like they're just potatoshop mock ups... is there a physical bike?

While their previous models were all handcrafted, the Supermarine was designed and built using 3D and engineering software. Daryl continues. ‘Over 400 components were precision-cut using the latest technology with tolerances measured in microns. Every edge is made with intent, each surface absolute.’
So i'm guessing yes.

The more I look, the more I'm convinced those are all just very well done computer mock ups.

Not a stand in sight, there's no defection on any of the tyres and how do you change gear (where's the linkage)?

Looks like a horseshoe crab.

I agree with Bob BTW. They might have actually built one but I don't think its in these pics.

The swingarm is going to have a weird effect on chain tension

You'd think something else would be my first criticism of it.

Sea Power?

Supermarine famously made AIRcraft!

They made seaplanes and flying boats before the Spitfire, who can forget the Walrus

That's what I said on the first thread about this bike. (Couple of months ago?)

So apart from the chainline that would chew the swingarm to bits, the lack of steering lock, the direct shot that crap gets from the rear wheel into the inlets it's an almost pretty picture that bears very little resemblance to a real motorbike.
Nope.

I know... but they were still aircraft!

I found what I think was a Walrus when I was rummaging in a box of bits and pieces... must have been off my old Airfix HMS Suffolk :)

The picture of the Walrus is not taken where I thought it was, found another picture of where the flying boats were launched from, it's now under a container park and quayside

It's all about bringing discussion. Which it seems to have done
