Not tried it in wet yet. But it's too intrusive in the dry. Even cuts in on straights when accelerating.
Not everyone rides like you. Never once on any bike have I had the TC light kick on.
Are you sure you've got it switched on?

It's on automatically on bikes that are equipped with it. Most you can turn it off.

The mt07 doesn't have TC

I'm tempted to take it to Santa Pod and do some comparison runs with the traction control off and on to see which is faster.

Must resist bitchy comment about it not having enough power to need it :D

In what, I think the electronics are better than me, I'm just winding the throttle and letting the TC sort it out, the same goes for braking, the ABS sorts out my cack handed braking

Glad you like the bike, there aren't any bad bikes these days and yours is an ace example of a lot of technology and knowhow being put into a very affordable package.

Is your ABS and TC adjustable? unless I'm really titting about on my Monster, neither kick in on the road.

The ABS isn't, the TC has off and 3 modes, all of them prevent wheelies, which is what I think is triggering the TC, it doesn't feel like the rear is starting to spin in the dry, but it does feel like it would wheelie without the TC. I am revving it to 10-11 in first gear when the light is flashing.

Even fairly steady acceleration has it kicking in. On hot days.

The TC on your gsx hasn’t got an IMU, this means it isn’t lean angle sensitive so is a more basic system. Tbh I’d turn it off each ride as it’ll interfere especially with wheelies

Yes, I think I may have bought it because I like the colour, certainly it's why I noticed it, everything else seems to have quite subdued colours, even the green Z900RS is a pale pasty green rather than the vivid lime green that Eddie Lawson made famous

Been out on it again, little 20 mile round trip to Felixstowe and back, roads were wet, had to clean it when I got back. Wore my £180 Ducati Arai with the fancy Sun visor.

You've done ok out of this forum, life changing bike and cheap Arai.

What do people think of this screen

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/164719655026 ... SwLGpgNQ9q

It's a little pricey, but it comes with a new dash cover that the screen mounts onto, it's not too big and looks okay - wish I could say it looks good, but none of them do.
