Not that fussed about the aesthetics, but the fitting of the SC is brilliant, i'd not really noticed before, but the boxer engine lends itself to SC fitting perfectly!
On some pics it's got a dual port intake manifold and on others it's a single. I suppose I should read the article.

As said, a very neat fit for the supercharger.
And SC's are much cooler then TC's. The plumbing is much neater and Mad Max had one.

Quality job that. Some really good construction and detail. I like what he's done with the shaft drive housing etc. Shame about the Brembo front/BMW back brake calipers though - matching would be better- and I really dislike bar end mirrors but otherwise...
It's only his second attempt too!

File firmly under "do it just 'cause you can"
Love it.
BTW I notice it doesn't say which team he works for, but I know at least one of them officially does "homers" on all their kit. You can prefix drawings with a "XX" code and if they've got spare time/capacity on the machines and free material they'll make you anything you like. Bound to come in handy.

Really? IIRC it's where BMW put it in the Rennsport race bikes. . As you say, it's the obvious place for it.KungFooBob wrote: ↑Sat Oct 30, 2021 8:25 am Not that fussed about the aesthetics, but the fitting of the SC is brilliant, i'd not really noticed before, but the boxer engine lends itself to SC fitting perfectly.
