Sounds a lot like continuing predatory behaviour.
'Men still coercing women into sex even when they are wearing a dress' non-shocker.

I told my bank manager that I self-identify as a billionaire. She wouldn't change my overdraft limit.
I decided to sue. The v expensive lawyer wouldn't accept a cheque.

Re: In todays news...
I'll ignore the smelly bait about straight white men, they had nothing to do with the article.Potter wrote: ↑Wed Oct 27, 2021 6:22 amWhere does that argument stop? You say trans women in dresses are not women so they shouldn’t have the same rights? Others say women in business suits are not men so they shouldn’t have the same rights?
Shall we pretend to be equal and all have the same rights or just go back to white heterosexual men doing whatever they want and stop all this pretending to be equal stuff.
Where does the argument stop? Why did the bloke in Europe somewhere fail in his court case to have his legal age changed? His argument was just as sound as the trans argument, he said he felt 18 so should be recognised as being 18.
It was pretty clear in the article that the nasty woman just wanted a bit of cock and used trans rights as a way to bully her lesbo girlfriend into a three way with one, which is much of the problem now as people are just using woke arguments to be selfish.

I've pressed the hate crime button.irie wrote: ↑Wed Oct 27, 2021 6:06 amThat is exactly the point. Trans men wearing dresses does not make them women with the same rights as women for the elementary reason that they are not women, they are trans men. We are all equal but we are not all the same as each other.Potter wrote: ↑Wed Oct 27, 2021 3:45 amIt's just a silly anti-trans article, this is just because some women don't want to give equal rights to trans people. I think everyone accepts that you shouldn't be forced to have sex with anyone, that's called rape, but I think some people need to decide what they want, you either can discriminate against people based on what's in their underwear, or you can't.gremlin wrote: ↑Tue Oct 26, 2021 6:05 pm Well, here's an article that had me slowly shaking my head in wonderment....
I'll summarise:
Some lesbians are being labelled trans phobic as they don't want to have sex with trans women as they say that being lesbian kinda rules out an attraction to willies.
BBC News - 'We're being pressured into sex by some trans women'
https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-57853385
If we can then lets stop talking about gender equality because it won't exist, if we can't then we have to accept trans women as equal to everyone else.
That doesn't mean making laws that you have to shag them, but it does mean that you have to treat them exactly the same as anyone else in a dress - something some women seem very unhappy about.
Years ago some men didn't want gay men allowed into their changing rooms because they were scared they'd get molested or something ridiculous. Now we've got some women that don't want trans women in their changing rooms for the same reasons. It's ridiculous, we're either going to pretend that we're all equal or we're not, I'm not arsed which but I wish they'd hurry up and decide.
Hate crime! Hate crime!

Re: In todays news...
Well, about bloody time...
Professional footballer comes out as gay.
https://www.bbc.com/news/newsbeat-59060323
All the way around the other side of the world, mind.
What's the chances of a pro footballer, maybe even one in the Premiership, in the UK coming out as gay now. I mean, looking at the averages there must be a fair few among the 5,000-odd PFA members, right?*
Or will the small minority of bigoted idiots chanting oh-so-hilarious ditties from the terraces still be enough to prevent it?
* I have a colleague who's homophobia is so great it's almost comedic. His theory is that boys who are gay cannot/do not play football in school, preferring badminton, etc., thus there can be no gay top flight footballers. It's an...interesting theory.
Edit: from the article: "There are out players at the non-league level of the English football pyramid, as well as gay referees like Ryan Atkin and James Adcock"
I know, I know....I need to grow up. I'm not proud of myself for sniggering like a schoolboy at that name.

Lolz.
It's a fvcked up world - I'm sure in their heads the primary objective is to be accepted as what you feel you are. But really all it comes down to is that they want to bang ladies with their big wangers.

One of them should be "not having middle aged men thinking we're pretending" i'm sure.

Re: In todays news...
I can’t really still claim to be middle aged.
But you’re right: when a man starts pretending to be a woman, I certainly think he’s pretending to be a woman.
If I tell the people around me I’m a woman, what rights will I lose?

Re: In todays news...
I'd expect it's the right to walk down the street without being mocked, abused, spat at and shouted at.. You'd deffo lose that. I don't claim to understand it for a single second, life in the wrong body. But i can imagine 'coming out' is just as hard than staying in.

Re: In todays news...
Abuse on the street isn’t a matter of rights, in that enacting some sort of new rights law won’t change it.
Society and the authorities are failing to uphold these people’s right to not be spat at, etc.

How old is your daughter?
My granddaughter is 12 and I'm not sure she'd like to see some bloke in the Ladies flashing his meat and two veg because he 'identifies' as a woman. I certainly wouldn't like her to be subjected to that. Of course, I defend your right to think it's OK just as you, I'm sure, defend my right to think differently.
Personally, the only reason I can think of that makes it OK for people is that they may be inclined that way.

You might have noticed that in baboon society the biggest and nastiest wins. I'm not too sure that you (or I) would be high up a baboon pecking order.

Why is this hypothetical trans person getting their cock out and waving it about? That doesn't happen in men's toilets, why would it happen in a ladies?Yambo wrote: ↑Thu Oct 28, 2021 8:54 am

Gender is bullshit. I’d still have the right to play sport in men’s events and piss in the gents.
It would be wrong to intrude on the rights of actual women.
