Get rid of the cheap looking fork covers and full wets, then it'd be ok....

NOt an uncommon mod on MT-07s it seems, partly because people fit an aftermarket shock like a cbr600 which has an external res part and needs airbox removing. Also because it removes a restrictive snorkel too which frees up a few horses.

That's such a mess. I don't really understand who the bikes on exif are for... but I bet they use beard oil.

Re: ONYX BLADE: ROUGH CRAFTS’ RAZOR-SHARP YAMAHA MT-07
It's a good question. I think some/most must sell, bit at what price and to who I don't really know.
For me though it's more about seeing the levels of attention to detail that people care prepared to go to. Or not as the case may be.
I don't always care about the overall look or even the usability of it, just a few things here or there will do me.
Sometimes i just post them to see the reaction of you lot and it's not always what I expected

The fork covers are gash, apart from that it's okay, the ribbed for her pleasure seat isn't to my taste and the paint scheme is dull, it would considerably better painted white with a red stripe like a TZ

I guess that it's cool if whoever is making these things enjoys it and makes a living from it but to put wets on for the look... you know it's just going to the artisanal baker and back or parked outside a posh barbers.weeksy wrote: ↑Tue Oct 26, 2021 9:02 am It's a good question. It looks like something developed for the MoD. Delivered 5 years late, 700% over budget and 17 committees involved in the procurement - and when it was delivered, none of them was happy with it.

Part of me likes part of that.
I need to go and have a word with part of me.
Kawasaki did that fork cover thing on the Gen 3 Z1000...I dunno if I like it either, but it's less ugly than the Yam covers.

Well, at least you won't see the rust pitting the chrome if you ride it in winter.

My 500 Bullet has fork shrouds, I've often wondered what condition the chrome is underneath. I guess if they're not leaking, there's nothing to worry about.

At least the bike tat mountain might be depleted to the point where theres less tat for every other bike.
Sort of concentrated it onto one and stored in an underground tat silo.
