Re: RC30 - Worth a punt?
I'd also take an 851/888 over a 916/996/998 any day. Friend of mine has a mint 998S Final Edition he's owned from new in 2004, did very little for me when it was new and I still feel the same now...
Back to the question of an RC30 - if it's on the bucket list and money is sat in the bank, why not? Cant see you'd lose money on one....

I think that the 999 is raging remarkably well.KungFooBob wrote: ↑Tue Oct 19, 2021 7:56 pm I can't see 999's ever been worth the same as the equivalent (R/S/SP) 916/9996/998.
I think I'd rather an 888 SP4.

Some 'interesting' bikes here...

I'd take the Magni Australia.

Seat unit is too high and too big, makes the rear tyre look small. It’s a recognisable shape but that’s it for meMr. Dazzle wrote: ↑Wed Oct 20, 2021 10:19 amHa...Le_Fromage_Grande wrote: ↑Wed Oct 20, 2021 10:14 am I prefer the looks of the 851/888 to the 916, the 916 is over styled.
The thing I like most about the 916 is that it's so understyled It's a model of restraint, how to make something look good with the minimum of fuss. Just like an E type.

And here.
Always hated the 916 headlights, looks like it's squinting to see better.....

For looks alone I would have my 998s back tomorrow. For riding experience - hmmmmCouchy wrote: ↑Sat Oct 23, 2021 10:09 amSeat unit is too high and too big, makes the rear tyre look small.
