Textile bottoms that aren't like a boil in bag material and warm to wear.

Threw my textiles on for this mornings riding and they're a bit yukky material on the inside. I guess it's potentially like a waterproof type thing as it's quite a plasticky material.

Because of that, it feels quite cold on the legs, even when out riding you can still feel it being cold/breezy.

Not looking to spend tonnes if i'm honest, so more RST budget than Rukka. But would like a nice warmish lining.

I 'would' have recommended Hein Gericke, but no idea what the current equivalent is, I haven't bought any for about 10 years I think (Still using a pair of Hein Geicke Voyager trousers in the depths of winter, IIRC).

I don't imagine you'll be wanting to ride in the rain much,so why not consider armoured jeans?

My needs have changed from all weather gear and these are all I ever use in Summer,or cold,dry Winter days. Super comfortable and not too expensive at £170. They don't look like shit if you have to walk around either.

Pair of ski silk thermals under the textiles. Warm and the textiles will move around smoothly. Wear them under any bike gear on a chilly day really.

Fit isn't hipster slim but isn't baggy, they stretch in all the right places and are plenty warm enough up to legal speeds on a naked bike.

Got a pair of the chinos too for smarter days in the office.

I just ordered these. They'll zip to my jacket. Apparently fully waterproof with there own goretex type layering tech. Should do the job. Not arrived yet though.

Had a jacket with a discrete zip-in, waterproof liner ie not bonded/layered into the outer fabric. When water gets through the outer, you don't actually get wet..but you feel like you are!
