Bloody knew you'd love it!!

I didn't get so fast as you but loved the technical side - the girls running the pit lane the time I went commented that they were watching me brake later and later as i got to know the track and the bike!! LOL (I had plenty of time to chat with them on day three cos I wasn't allowed back out till day 4!!). And that wasn't the corner I crashed at! (And, self inflicted!! LOL)


I can't wait till I can get back out there. So so glad you enjoyed it

Honestly although totally shattered by the third day, I was devastated knowing it was coming to an end, I just wanted to stay out there for another week if I could, simply the best circuit I've ever had the privilege of riding around.

I'm chuffed to hear you had an amazing time too(minus the crash) but like you say it's just so rewarding to ride and see your progress on with braking layer, carrying more corner speed etc.

I told myself before going that times weren't important (they really aren't to me other than a gauge to see if I'm improving) but I'd have been over the moon with a 2 minute lap, so to comfortably get a fair chuck under that I'm really pleased with, I reckon with a fresh body and fresh rubber I'd push on for a love 1:50s when I return, but we shall see.

I'm currently uploading some onboards, but having some difficult..it seems MotoGP and Dorna Sports think that they own my content, they've mistaken me for Quartararo

@R1Dave I wasn't anywhere near that fast! (and TBF, wasn't timing! LOL) but it was so cool to feel that I was getting the corners better each time!

That tyre was tearing badly. Did you check pressures?

Haha yeah he wasn't very confident on the Duke, he's ridden Sports bikes his whole life and the Duke is a drastic change from the norm, still smashing 2:01s in mind so not bad going at all, but he's vastly quicker than me on a proper thou.

I noticed he was running race shift as well .... i assume thats what he is used to

Those vids mad me realise just how fucking slow i would be round there on my Multistrada .... still want to go though

I'm going on the Monster at some point - rolling road block I expect but at least I can do corners well!! LOL

It really is a bloody excellent track. If you guys organise to go again I'll try and meet you there (bit of a drive, but would be worth it and would probably have a couple of friends willing to go too )
