My Falke socks are 'anatomically shaped' ie there's a left and a right....like my feet and my shoes.

All I'm gonna say is, I doubt Burberry offer shocking pink as a colour choice in any of their detail options. But TBH I've not checked.
I think they do, even pink Burberry pattern, they probably even do pink designer dog coats.
They send me emails almost every day with the latest stuff and most of it is ghastly, you'd have to be Paris Hilton to get away with wearing it otherwise you'd just look an absolute twat.

It's a shame, because their classic coats and jumpers are very nice.
That 'ghastly stuff' nearly sank them but they still do the dog coats and pram blankets!

Chav culture came to be known as a type of fashion that involved designer brands, tacky jewelry, and bad taste. Unfortunately, Burberry became associated with this term in the 20th century and this greatly affected the brand and its story by plummeting sales to an all-time low.

I've got running socks like that. They're not what I'd call stylish :D

Could be worse, I could run in those shoes with individual toes.

Yeah. Got some sports socks with L and R on. :D (1000 Mile or some make like that). The Falke are just nicely made smart socks that fit yer feet properly (as long as you know which foot is left and which is right  )

A tank of fucking unleaded for the bike.

Cab driver mate gave me the heads up on a local garage with the precious stuff, just as I'd made a cup of ginger tea. Jumped on the bike, with 5l jerry can in the tailpack, mumble swerved the fucking carnage that was the local traffic, joined the queue next to a burly van driver (didn't want to piss anybody off by queue jumping), but then, fuck me, people are blocking thew queue by not wanting to go the pump that wasn't on their filler side. Bollocks to that, thought I, and swerved in. Full tank and jerry can for the wife's car which was running on fumes. Even with 5l in it it still reads as 0 miles range.

Back in time to finish the perfectly steeped ginger tea.

Some local honey.

I got chatting to a bloke who works in our office up in Manchester who keeps bees. He was waxing (see what I did there?) lyrical about the benefits of local honey in terms of hay fever relief and general health benefits over mass produced honey and sugar. I asked him to sell me a couple of jars, at which point he reminded me that Manchester is not in any way local to Kent.

So, on his advice I found a local bee keeper, gave him a buzz (eh? eh?!) and bought a couple of jars of honey, the hives being only two minutes away from me. I have to say, health benefits or not, the honey is bloody lovely. Real deep taste and almost herbal. I also bought some raw comb from him. He told me that the wax is edible and is supposedly full of good stuff, so I've been polishing (I'm on a roll now!) that off.

The NHS website lists Honey as pretty much the only treatment for Covid.

Managed the same last night (at about 11:30) at the nearest Shell.

Blatantly empty pump that at least 2 people didn't want to try for, so, after checking with the young lass in the car in front, I nipped up to.

Only to discover that it was 'pay first' and max £35. So still had to stand in the drizzle waiting for the (unexpectedly socially distancing) queue to all pay for their 25 litres.

First time I've tried to fill up since the 'panic' started (we're not getting out much!)

And honey doesn't go off AFAIK. They found some in one of the Egyptian pyramids and it was still good.

Apparently not. It can be frozen (not in glass jars though, obvs) but the way I'm getting through it at the moment, how long it keeps for is a bit of a moot point.

Bloody lovely in ginger tea, although the melted comb doesn't look that appealing floating on top.

Edit: And another plus for natural honey is that it can be used to treat ulcers and burns as it has natural antiseptic properties. Clever little fuckers, them bees.

Although I am a confirmed meat eater and everything I always give a slight pause over honey.

I really like bees...I dunno why, I just do. It always feels a bit mean to me to steal their honey, they work so hard to make it :D

And, ultimately, it is bee vomit.
